| Comments: This flock of Laughing
Gulls is made up of adults and juveniles in various plumage phases.
The bird closest to the camera at the front of the flock is about
one year old. The three fully black-headed birds are adults.
The two birds whose heads are white on top are in their second
winter's
plumage. |
