| Subject: Ring-billed Gull, Larus
delawarensis |
| Date: 2 October 2001 |
| Locale: Algoma, Door County, Wisconsin |

| Comments: The Ring-billed Gull
has dramatically increased its numbers over the last half century.
As such, it is now the most common gull on most of the beaches
along the shores of the Great Lakes. Along our ocean beaches
it is still less common in comparison to the Herring Gull and
the Laughing Gull. |
