Cuzco, Peru, South America |

| Comments: At least four centuries
ago, children began sliding down the grooves in the rocks
outside the Fortress
of Sacsayhuaman. Today, screams of joy mingled with fear continue
to accompany the ongoing polishing of these rocky slides by thousands
of modern-day Peruvian children, as the games of their Inca forebearers
continue to bring joy into the lives of the children of this
region. |
