| Comments: As fall advances,
the staghorn sumac is one of the first species to show some color,
but the intensity of the color depends upon whether a plant is
on a north or south-facing slope. Then as the season progresses,
individual
plants pass
through an amazing array of colors from bright yellows to crimsons
and even maroons. |
