Images of Nature by Kendall and Susanne Corbin

Wild Bergamot Close Up: Order Code ND-13d
Date: 27 June 2003
Locale: Eagan, Minnesota
Photographer:  Kendall W. Corbin
Comments: Wild Bergamot and its close relative, the Beebalm, provide favorite dining areas for bees and flower flies. Even we use these plants as extracts in our teas; especially Earl Grey teas. In this photo one can see a small black dot at the center of the flower, surrounded by a pattern of small purple stars embedded in a silver background.
