| Comments: In November of 1980, the
Bolivian government had been overthrown once again. A
toca de queda (curfew) had been imposed, but it had little effect
on the daytime hustle and bustle of the city, and no effect on
the crowds that waited patiently and endlessly in the
local plazas for buses
that would take them to and from their shopping in the city. In
the foreground a young mother sits with her child on a bag of produce. |
