Blue Giant Hyssop: Order Code Pa-21d
Subject: Blue Giant Hyssop, Agastache scrophulariaefolia
Date: 27 July 2003
Locale: Kasota Prairie, Kosota, Le Sueur County, Minnesota
Photographer:  Kendall W. Corbin
Comments: This species is also called the Fragrant Giant Hyssop for it's anise-like scent when crushed. It is a relative of the mint, and stands 3 to 4 feet tall. The Giant Hyssop is exceeded in height on the long grass prairies only by the towering grasses themselves.
