| Comments: Not all sunsets are mosaics
of the brilliant hues of reds through golds. At the time and
place this image was captured, facing westward from the far
eastern point of Guadeloupe, the
sky
became a blinding blaze of white 15 minutes before sunset.
The Atlantic Ocean, seen here, lies to the north of this peninsula, which ends
at the Pointe des Chateaux. |
